“Our experience with Bedrok has been hands down 5 stars! We initially reached out to them to help us develop a set of video animations and due to the creative direction, skill, and professionalism of Andy & Sarah it soon led us to ask them to help us redevelop OTR’s brand. Andy & Anthony have an incredible vision of what a brand needs helping us build the new brand from an initial workshop with staff and volunteers right through to development of logo, brand guidelines and its complete end-to-end personality! It’s easy to understand why the brand outcome for OTR has worked so well, it’s not only the years of experience and expertise, but the passion for all they deliver. Each project we’ve worked on has been a true collaborative partnership, they listen and understand the organisation and are not afraid to challenge and suggest improvements. Bedrok are excited about their work, and they are genuinely invested in the OTR brand and seeing our charity succeed. I recommend Bedrok to every business, from design project to complete marketing… you want them in your corner!.”
Off The Record opened thier doors to young people in 1977 to help support them through difficult periods in their lives; mostly anxiety and family & relationships issues, but also anger, low self-esteem and low mood.
Their existing branding over time had become dated and didn’t represent their energy and openness to and for young people. They needed to update their brand identity and purpose to have a greater connection with those they set out to support.
We worked with their fantastic team to create their purpose ‘To support young people’s mental health to fulfil their potential for a brighter future.’ From there we went on to refreshing their brand identity and tone of voice to something that feels more in tune with their target age range. Throughout the process we were consulting with young people to check that the end result was something that did actually resonate with their age group. We’ve also produced a series of animated videos for OTR that help young people get Back to Basics when it comes to supporting their own mental health.
It’s a little early for hard facts and figures, but there has been a resounding warm welcome by the OTR team, their peers and most importantly the young people they support. Such a great charity supporting such a great cause. It’s great to see them embracing their new identity and really living their purpose.
