Seann Walsh is a Comedian and Actor – Described as ‘the best observational comedian of his generation’ (The Guardian), this Edinburgh Award nominee’s last UK tour show After This One, I’m Going Home ended with standing ovations around the country. Seann has starred in Netflix’s Flinch, Live At The Apollo, Tonight at The London Palladium, Celebrity Juice, Play To The Whistle, Virtually Famous, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Chatty Man, Stand Up Central and is a regular guest on The Jonathan Ross Show.
Seann was famously berated by the National press for kissing his dance partner on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2018. Seann’s a brilliantly talented comedian and this year created an hour long YouTube comedy special: Kiss. This show was a self created/funded project at a time when in his own words ‘very very very few people would work with him in TV/Streaming’ – Seann wanted help getting it in front of people – on a tight budget!
We helped design a marketing plan to reach fans of Seann that would be interested in watching the show. The plan included the use of paid and organic support across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok – Working closely with Seann and the director we set out the plan and everyone’s roles in delivering. The bulk of our efforts were spent running advertising support across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube – with additional support with Seann’s orgnanic content plan.
To date the show has had just over 100,000 views – and the quality of the views, along with the feedback (which we can’t take credit for!) has been phenomenal. Speaking to Seann after the campaign to see if he had any expectations before we started – just as many views as possible, but he was expecting 10k or so.
